Ficek Electric & Communication Systems, Inc. was established in the early part of 1976 concentrating on providing residential and industrial electrical service for the Illinois Valley area.  In the latter part of 1978, our business expanded to include the sales and service of telecommunications equipment, utilizing the strong background of Bill Ficek in the field of telephony.

We became an eOn Communications Authorized Distributor for the powerful SYSTEM 3100 in 1980 and have followed the system through many exciting changes as it was developed into the MILLENNIUM.  The eOn MILLENNIUM is one of the most flexible PBX digital systems on the market today.  It meets all requirements of today’s fast paced business and promotes an outstanding voice messaging system for complete integration.  The SDI Voice Processing System is designed to work with both the MILLENNIUM and the SYSTEM 3100 with full integration.  In July of 1994 we became an Authorized Dealer for AVAYA Communication (formerly LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES) and accepted an exciting new product line.  We offer the complete PARTNER and MERLIN MAGIX family line of telephone systems as well as the innovative GUESTWORKS digital lodging telephone system and the world renowned DEFINITY ECS, PROLOGIX AND BCS.  Our entire staff is certified by AVAYA Communication to install and maintain their complete line of AVAYA voice and data equipment.

Presently, we are maintaining and servicing thousands of telecommunications customers throughout Illinois.  As an AVAYA Communication Business Partner and an eOn Authorized Distributor, we are upholding a reputation for quality sales and service entitling us to the full support of both international companies.  Our technicians are duly authorized and qualified for the installation and maintenance of a broad range of voice and data products.  We also hold the elite status as a Siemon Company Certified Installer for datacom cabling.  We provide a 20-year data throughput warranty on performance and applications.  Put the critical job of keeping your wiring infrastructure in the skilled and capable hands of our Siemon Certified Installers and Designers.
